Alan Watson Featherstone is the Founder and Director of the Trees for Life Project which aims to restore the Caledonian Forest and all its constituent species of flora and fauna to the Scottish Highlands.
Through its volunteer programme,Trees for Life provides a powerful and educational experience that promotes restoration work to wider audiences and develops support for the return of the forest and its species.
By providing a sustainable and positive example of working in cooperation with nature and a demonstration of the techniques of ecological restoration, they aim to inspire similar projects elsewhere in the UK and around the world. Alan speaks personally of his own vision and perspective on nature and wellbeing.
