In an act of incredible generosity, the Network of Wellbeing has been gifted Eden Rise, a beautiful countryside haven just outside of Totnes, Devon.
A beautiful place…
Imagine two Victorian barns in the Devon countryside converted to a holiday let for up to eighteen people. Imagine people gathering there for weekends to connect with each other, to swop ideas and to improve their wellbeing. Imagine spaces to meditate, to dance, to cook, to connect with old friends and with new acquaintances. Imagine sitting out in the sun, having a sauna, or invigorating walks along the Devon lanes or through adjacent access land to nearby woods or to the local river.
All of this is Eden Rise – about three miles to the west of Totnes. And thanks to the incredible generosity of Sky Chapman, the man who created it, it has been given, as a place of calm, of learning and of healing, to the Network of Wellbeing.

We feel very grateful for this kind and generous gift, and we want to honour it by fulfilling the vision through which Eden Rise was created – to make it as widely available to others as we can.
It won’t be easy. Like a flower, Eden Rise is delicate. It has an intimacy that we will to work hard to preserve and enhance.
Thankfully, much has already been done. Eden Rise is already used by a select group of aficionados for a variety of retreats including theatre, therapeutic dance, mindfulness and yoga. We will be telling you more about these retreats – and how you can get involved – over the coming months.
