The Share Shed is a library of things in Totnes, where you can borrow useful items like ladders, drills, carpet cleaners, camping, cooking and gardening equipment, sewing machines, and much more!
This is the perfect place for people who want to simplify and have less stuff, and still have access to use what they need! The Share Shed is a "library of things" where instead of books you can check out tools, kitchen appliances, camping equipment, and more.www.shareshed.org.ukLike Rob Greenfield for more videos like this!

It enables people to borrow items at nominal cost so that they don’t have to buy them for themselves. The aim is to build a more resourceful community, allowing people to connect with each other and share things they may need just once in a while. This also reduces our impact on Earth’s precious resources.
The Share Shed is open on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm at 16 High Street (opposite St Mary’s Church), Totnes, TQ9 5RY.
Membership is by donation (from £1-10 per year) while items can be borrowed from £0.50 to £7 per week. Please bring a form of identification with your name and address on your first visit. Members have access to over 250 items and can reserve them using the Share Shed website.
Although funded by the Big Lottery and supported by the Network of Wellbeing, the Share Shed is reliant on donations and the help of volunteers. If you’re having a clear out, check the Share Shed Wish List to see if you’ve got anything we’re looking for. And if you’d like to get involved, get in touch.
