The green shoots of Spring are popping up all over South Devon. The days are getting warmer, buds are poking out from the trees and celandines and primroses are dotting the roadsides. Soon, the leaves will return and the hedgebanks will be in full bloom. Now is the time to shake off our slumbers and grow! And here are plenty of opportunities to do so at Eden Rise this Spring. Roger Higman reports.

Spring is a magical time at Eden Rise, our haven for wellbeing in the Devon countryside. Flowers are everywhere, the birds are in full song and the sunny days are rejuvenating to the body and the soul. That’s probably why it’s such a popular time for our retreat bookers. And there’s so much going on!
First off, we’ve Flo Scialom and Georgie Gilmore exploring how to align you purpose in a changing world. Then Alison Jones offers health and fitness for menopausal women followed by a weekend of yoga and meditation with Isabelle Luterbacher. In April, there’s 5-rythyms dance with Jean Rankin and non-violent communication through movement and dance wth Cath Burke before Megan Cowles arrives to help you explore your elemental being.
In the first of two visits, Ed Rooke will help you embrace your tantric shadow before David Rees of Here to Live comes to offer meditation and yoga in early May. Jane Schindler-Ord is leading training for counsellors the week after with Ben Beaumont offering a breathwork retreat after that. Then Faye Rosamond leads the lovely-sounding Introspective Rose yoga and music retreat for women only before Willard Lee of the Dragon Bell Temple returns with a meditation retreat in the last weekend of the month.
Finally, in June, we’ve Ed Rooke helping men find the power within them before Allison Priestman and Stephen Tame return for some Embodied Relational Awareness training.
