The Network of Wellbeing (NOW) is looking to recruit a Network Development Manager – someone to take responsibility for growing our relationships with our followers, especially wellbeing changemakers in the public, private and third sectors. Whoever fills the role will work from home for three day a week to develop and deliver our offer, including our new Ambassadors Programme which we aim to launch later this year. They will play a major role at the heart of a growing movement of wellbeing practitioners. NOW’s Director, Roger Higman, explains.

The Network of Wellbeing is recruiting for a Network Development Manager. This is a new post for someone who can work from home for three days a week. The person we’re looking for will work with me to ensure we offer clear ways for people to engage with us – including through an exciting new ambassador programme. They will lead our communications with our followers, including through our website, e-newsletter and social media. They will organise and possibly host online and in-person events. They will have experience of measuring their success and hopefully, of working with a fundraiser to expand the resources at their disposal.
The Network of Wellbeing has a vision of people and the planet thriving together. Our aim is to grow a national network of wellbeing changemakers – people, with a passion for wellbeing, who use their skills and experience to improve the wellbeing of others – either as sole traders or by working for charities, government or the private sector. We want to connect, support and inspire these changemakers – to help them learn from each other, so that we build wellbeing together – whether it be by spreading personal practices, such as mindfulness; by setting up grassroots projects to help people connect with nature or even by changing Government policy.
Although, we’re based in Devon, in the South West of England, this person doesn’t have to be. We’re used to working online and happy to appoint someone from anywhere in the UK. We’re also keen ensure the diversity of our staff group reflects the diversity of people in the UK and would welcome applications from people in all social groups.
