Mindful Living in a Frantic World

Type of Event: Wellbeing / Mindfulness / Community Learning

This 4-session Mindful Living course offers a supportive space to strengthen personal and collective wellbeing in ways that also honour the wellbeing of the wider world. Meeting fortnightly on Saturday mornings (3.5 hours each), the course blends evidence-based mindfulness practices with gentle ecological awareness to help participants reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the other-than-human world.

Open to new participants and those returning to mindfulness, the course invites participants to:

  • cultivate inner steadiness and emotional resilience

  • reduce stress and overwhelm through accessible, chair-based practices

  • deepen presence, kindness and relational awareness

  • explore how our inner ecology influences—and is influenced by—our communities and the natural environment

The course is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with practices suitable for all bodies and chairs provided. A sliding-scale fee is offered, along with an early-bird discount until 16 January 2025, to support participation from people with different financial circumstances.
