It’s the midst of winter and the nights are long. The leaves have largely fallen and the ground is wet. But Eden Rise still offers bright lights and a warm welcome to those who venture down to Devon. There are a host of opportunities for wellbeing and personal development at Eden Rise, including Hope in Action: Embody your Purpose in a Changing World – a new offer from our very own, Flo Scialom, and Georgie Gilmore of Resurgence. Roger Higman explores what’s on offer. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
From yoga to personal development, mindful living and dance, we’ve a wealth of opportunities at Eden Rise this winter.
First we’ve meditation with Willard Lee of the Dragon Bell Temple before a Mindful Living Christmas break with Ethan Pollack and dance and improvisation over the New Year with Sofia Velez and Richard Price. Then, there is personal development with Janet Burgis of Spark to Your Flame and treeplanting (and meditation) with Meditation in Action.
As always, there is lots of yoga. There’s meditation and yoga with Liz Dillon in late January, yoga with Hannah Roberts in February, yoga with Isabelle Luterbacher in March and yoga with non-violent communication with Cath Burke in April.
Ed Rooke is coming down for a personal development workshop for men in late February and again for all genders in April. Plus we’ve five rythyms dance with Jean Rankin and elemental being with Megan Cowles.
And at the start of Spring, our fomer Communications Manager, Flo Scaliom and Georgie Gilmore of Resurgence will be leading Hope in Action: Embody your Purpose in a Changing World – a new retreat which will braid together solo reflection time, Nature-connection practices, group work, meditation and mindfulness to explore how we can thrive in a changing world.
Enjoy!
